Module 1 – Grow your personal leadership
Why?
All you need in your career is passion, a compass to guide that passion and a plan that builds on your strengths to achieve your goals.
80% of the workforce is unhappy with their job, or feel that they are sitting in the passenger seat of their career. Often they got to where they are now because they were driven by random external events, a friend that chose a specific study, a vacancy that came available at the right time… or even a professor that offered a PhD scholarship. Most people dream of great things, “if I have a 1,000,000 euro then I will quit my job and I will …” Yet a minority will pursue their dreams, and odds of reaching that dream is slim at best. However starting your career with the job of your dreams will guarantee your future success. Selecting candidates on their likelihood of future success is exactly what a recruiter does. So what will you do in 10 years from now? What are your goals, passions, values and strengths? What are you doing today to reach it?
How?
This course teaches you to produce superior results by improving your personal effectiveness and leadership at a personal, and interpersonal level. It leverages the insights from Stephen Covey, Tom Rath, Simon Sinek, Tony Robbins, and many other international recognized personal coaches and trainers. The focus is to help the participants start on a journey of discovering their strengths, passions, values via various tools, get clear on their personal mission statement, and leverage this as a compass to focus on their goals. Module 2 – Grow your future career
Why?
Shaping your future career starts with you. You’ll get selected for your future career based on the estimate of your likely success, which is based on your passions, your values and your strengths. When all that fits, it only depends on how you sell yourself, and everyone is a salesman. Whenever you interact with people, talk with them, teach them, influence them, anything you try to convince them to spend time or any other resource on you. Why do people spend time reading your email, how do you convince them to spend their time on you? Everyone is trying to sell, but most people are not clear what they are selling, or how. When you are applying for a job it is no different. Why are you choosing a specific employer, and why would they buy from you?
How?
The objective of this training is to build the brand called You™, leveraging various tools, your strengths, values and passions to build a clear personal equity. Following the golden circle principle from Simon Sinek, it starts with why you do what you do, then how you do it and finally what you stand for. Because people don't buy what you do; they buy why you do it. And what you do simply proves what you believe. This is what creates a very clear image of the brand You™. Then learn how and where to sell it, to grow your future career. Lastly, get insider information on how talent based recruitment works, how to prepare, do’s and don’ts for your resume and how to shine in your interview.

Coaching for Growth
Why?
Most people prefer to be coached via a non-directive coaching style, but are more comfortable leveraging the directive style. Furthermore, the difference between leading, managing, coaching, and mentoring is often unknown and it is unclear what the right approach is. Coaching is not merely a technique to be wheeled out and rigidly applied in certain prescribed circumstances. It is a way of managing, a way of treating people, a way of thinking, a way of being.
How?
As a manager of others, you have two key tasks, delivering the results of the research/business group and growing your employees to become more effective in delivering the targeted results. Growing others can be done via various directive and non-directive management/coaching techniques. One of the most widely used coaching tools is the t-GROW (topic - Goal - Reality - Options – What) model. t-GROW is a simple and powerful framework for structuring and conducting coaching sessions that produce immediate results.
Who?
The target audience for this training are managers, leaders, and mentors who have coaching responsibilities. Ideally, participants have 2-3 years experience in managing responsibility, however it is never too late to start coaching for growth.
Goals
During the training, participants will...
- Explore and experience different coaching techniques
- Learn and practice the non-directive (t-GROW) approach to coaching.
- Gain insight in how to facilitate high performance in individuals and teams
